SEPTEMBER 24, 2022 ANDREA AND DOMITILLA
ROME, CENTER ITALY
Class is not water

The first time of a wedding in a big city like Rome worried me a lot. Logistics, travel, distances, times, everything becomes a source of anxiety. The trick for an event to be successful even in the face of these situations is experience and organization. I have to say that teamwork was fundamental, it was the key to the success of the event. A close-knit team is essential!

A WEDDING IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC
A wedding in the middle of traffic is possible, trusting suppliers and relying on them. This is how it was for Domitilla and Andrea who decided to take their photos in locations less trampled by tourists, such as the Gianicolo and Villa Sciarra. We let ourselves be fooled by the san pietrini of the Appian Way to get to the location chosen for the reception. It was a dive into the past and into tradition with the flavor of the old films by Fellini and Alberto Sordi.

THE CEREMONY IN THE CENTER
One of the moments that worried me the most was the moment of the ceremony in the city center but thanks to the work previously done by the Wedding Planners Le Love Society everything went smoothly and things worked out great without any hitches. I found the church magnificent, imposing, full of history. what a crazy light that’s the feature I’m always looking for wherever I shoot my weddings. A bucolic and romantic setting framed the ceremony of Andrea and Domitilla who gave us very strong emotions here too.

WEDDING GOWN
Domitilla, extremely elegant, chose an imposing dress that fit her perfectly. She chose a traditional, timeless hairstyle, just like her wedding. Her preparation was done at her parents’ home, among objects and rooms rich in their lives and details that allowed us to get to know her a little better.

A THEME ARRANGEMENT
The bride and groom have decided to focus their wedding and the arrangements on the atmosphere of “Pride and Prejudice”. We have photographed many studied and cared for details, such as a copy of the novel as a wedding favor for all the guests. The reception location that was chosen was Villa di Fiorano, a historic residence surrounded by 4 hectares of garden adjacent to the Appia Antica Archaeological Park, designed by the architect Buzzi and recently completely renovated, has once again regained its charm and colors that Prince Boncompagni Ludovisi had chosen for this precious residence.

THE BIG PARTY
The weather has changed, a storm has begun to threaten and an extraordinarily strong wind has arrived which I deeply love and which gives something extra to so many shots. So we tried to make an unfavorable situation ours and took advantage of the cutting of a unique and stratospheric cake by the artist and pastry chef Sal di Riso. I must say that I have never tasted such a good cake, flavored with lemons from Campania, a riot and an explosion of flavour, a really good choice!
