I have been a wedding photographer around Italy several times, but on this occasion my work took me to the Amalfi Coast, after Sicily last year, this year we return to the South. I was in a location new, and this is always super stimulating and very inspiring. In Vietri sul mare in particular there is the Palazzo Suriano Heritage Hotel which is a treasure hidden from view from the street but with a panorama, once reached, that truly leaves you breathless.

GETTING READY WITH THE BRIDE

Victoria is a makeup artist, she did the makeup herself, I found it to be a truly original idea and an interesting inspiration for the photos, certainly an unusual but very original choice. And then she chose a classic dress with a bow detail on the back that gave her a timeless elegance.

With Vic we played a bit in Palazzo Suriano with his bridesmaids, and later with the groom, it was really fun taking these shots!

GETTING READY WITH THE GROOM

John, the groom, chose a white suit for his wedding, I found it super elegant and in keeping with the event.

Victoria and John came with relatives and friends from New York and chose this location to get ready and then go to get married in Scala di Ravello. The ceremony took place in what remains of the ancient Basilica of Sant’Eustachio, one of the most evocative places in Scala, overlooking the blue of the coast.

A COUPLE’S SESSION WITH A AMAZING VIEW

The spouses chose to take some couple photos right at the Basilica, the view was truly crazy, a boundless blue horizon, with a beautiful view of the Costiera.

ARRIVAL IN AMALFI

After a short journey we arrived in Amalfi where a boat was waiting for us that would take us to Praiano. We took this opportunity to take some couple shots on the trip.
